How to attend Bootfest

  1. Book a hotel room if you need one, otherwise skip to step 2
  2. Park your car at the Pattie Dodson Health Center (aka the Victoria County Public Health Department).
  3. Catch one of the free Park and Ride buses for a quick trip to Bootfest
  4. Enjoy Bootfest!
  5. When you're done, ride back to your car

 

Park and Ride Hours:

Friday 5:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.

What does it cost to attend?

Bootfest is free!

What should I bring?

Cash to pay for food and drinks; sunscreen; dancing boots.

Can I bring my lawn chairs?

Yes! However, Bootfest is supported through sales - outside food, coolers, glass bottles, containerized or alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are strongly discouraged; crowds and noise can cause four-legged family members stress.

New - Bootfest Barbecue Street

An entire street dedicated to the country’s best barbecue vendors. Vendors will sell barbecue all weekend!

New - College Football Jumbotrons

During the day Saturday a pair of huge outdoor TV screens will be playing the (A&M or UT, depending on who has the day-game) game. Come cheer on the team, enjoy drinks and great  food with other fans!

New - Bootfest Blue Sky 5K

This is a race runners and walkers alike will enjoy. The course meanders through downtown Victoria and will feature a celebration at the finish line.

Kids Corral

The Kids Corral will make a return this year in a different location on the south side of the festival. With a DJ, entertainers and over a dozen large inflatable rides for children age 3-12, the Kids Corral is a fun time for the family.

Western Crafters and Performers

On Saturday, we'll feature special western artisans inside De Leon Plaza. Boot crafters, painting experiences, and a trick roper are among the many cool western experiences at Bootfest on Saturday.

Dalton Trucking Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show

The Dalton Trucking Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will return to Bootfest this year in a new location on the north side of the festival. This show draws 100-150 collectible and beautiful automobiles competing for several awards. Click here for online registration and more details!

Fireworks Extravaganza

Capping the festival on Saturday, the Fireworks Extravaganza is one of the longest fireworks shows in South Texas launched from atop One O'Connor Plaza. This unique firework show gives the impression that the fireworks are going off right over your head!
